Educational and Mentoring
Mandatory Log Sheet ... Many states require providers of continuing education courses in valuation sciences to show proof that participants seeking continuing education credit have attended courses in their entirety. These states require Valuation 2000 to maintain a log as proof that attendees are present at the entire educational session for which credit is being sought.
Therefore, all Certified Public Accountants and Real Property appraisers seeking credit must sign and have stamped a continuing education log sheet. Only those attendees who conform with this state mandate will be granted continuing education credit for their professional or state licenses in states where these educational sessions are approved.
Reaccreditation opportunities... Conference attendees may request reaccreditation credit for attending educational sessions. This year, those who attend a full schedule of sessions may receive at least 15 hours of reaccreditation credits, depending on which discipline program you attend. A reaccreditation credit request form will be included in your on-site registration packet.
Megamentor program ... Want to gain valuable insight into the appraisal profession? The megamentor program provides unique "one-on-one" counseling and gives appraisers in all disciplines the chance to visit with distinguished members of the appraisal profession. Learn what these outstanding professional specialists’ positions entail and what it took to reach them. No appointment necessary. Saturday, July 8, through Monday, July 10.
